A Hope Spot on Earth with unique natural and cultural treasures exists in Chocó, Colombia. Join a cultural event blending artists from both Colombia and the United States to create a dynamic exchange that celebrates diversity and fosters connection.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

✓ You struggle to find travel experiences that combine authentic cultural engagement with ecological and environmental preservation

✓ You’re concerned about the environmental impact of travel and seeks experiences that support conservation and sustainable practices.

✓ You want to experience exclusive access to a cultural festival in an incredible bioregion while forging international connections with culture keepers in Colombia

✓ You’re comfortable with immersion in nature which means more humble accommodations for 4 nights and close encounters with the animal, insect, and plant life of a rainforest!

The Gulf of Tribugá

Ocean defenders, Mission Blue, have declared the Tribugá Gulf a Hope Spot which is a protective designation for a marine area that has been scientifically identified as critical to the health of the ocean. The Tribugá Gulf faces the threat of human development which would destroy one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet.

To honor this pulse of the Earth and prevent over-tourism, international guests have been limited to the 15 spots we have on our trip as the official travel parter of the Festival del Aguacero. Otherwise, there will only be local and national visitors for this event.

You are meant to be a part of preserving the Earth and all she’s birthed.

Celebrate diversity and life in Choco, Colombia and connect with the abunance of nature. Take home with you the wisdom and courage to compassionately fight for the protection of life.
